St. Louis Lions announce open tryouts for 2018 season
Registration now open for tryouts scheduled for February 17 & 18 at St. Dominic High School in O’Fallon, MO.
The St. Louis Lions, a Premier Development League (PDL) team entering our 12th season playing in the Heartland Division of the Central Conference are building a championship team for the 2018 season and are looking for a few good men.
The Lions will host an open tryout session at St. Dominic High School in O’Fallon, MO on February 17th and 18th. The tryouts will take place from 12:00 – 5:00 both days.
Team founder and head coach, Tony Glavin is looking for fresh talent to continue to grow the club’s national reputation. The Lions are looking to fill roster spots for the 2018 PDL team.
“We are excited for the 2018 season and want to continue to build off a strong 2017 campaign. We are looking for players who are committed to improving their game. Our goal is to help them get to the next level” said Glavin.

Founded in 2005, the Lions have seen more than 40 players move on to play the game professionally including Lawrence Olum of the Portland Timbers, Tommy Heinemann of FC Cincinnati & formerly Columbus Crew, John Berner of the Colorado Rapids, Vadim Cojocov, Casey Clark and several other players of the St. Louis Ambush to name a few!
